ERC Announces New President and Board Members for 2026

During the January 2026 meeting of Eastside Republican Club, we conducted our Annual Business Meeting and enjoyed hearing from guest speakers Rosy Ruiz of Turning Point USA and Emily Strode of the House Republican Organizational Committee. The Club elected Kerry French, a long-time board member, Navy veteran, and Republican activist, to serve as our president for 2026. Doug Basler, immediate past ERC president, was elected as Vice President. Kathleen Strong and Michael Scheele were re-elected as Secretary and Treasurer respectively. Lenny Chacon and Toby Nixon were re-elected to additional two-year terms on the Board, and David Prutzman was elected to a two-year term as our newest board member. We thank them all for their willingness to serve (again)! Also at the annual business meeting, Michael provided a Treasurer’s Report, informing us that the club continues to be in healthy financial shape even though expenses increased in 2025 due to cost of TV ads to promote some of the meetings. Doug addressed the Club as outgoing president, and Kerry as incoming president. We look forward to all the great things ahead for the club this year!
