Friends,
The Legislature is
in full swing, campaigns are gearing up and we have elections to win
this year. Let’s all be involved, whether on Leg watch or
volunteering for our favorite candidate, we can’t leave the work to
someone else.

WATKINS TO CHAIR
KOSTER'S KING COUNTY EFFORTS
January 30, 2012 -
John Koster today expressed his gratitude to his two Republican
primary opponents for their service to our country and their
selfless decision to forgo their campaigns for Congress.
"Greg Anders and
James Watkins are great American patriots", said Koster. "Both of
these men made a difficult, but honorable, decision to pull out of
the race for the 1st Congressional district. I am grateful to them
because now we will not have a protracted, expensive primary
campaign. Republicans, Independents and conservative Democrats in
the 1st district can unite behind my candidacy."

The 2012 "Respect
for Law" citizens’ initiative was filed with the Secretary of
State's office on Monday January 30th.
Historic sections
familiar to you already include requirements that:
1. All employers
fight identity fraud through E-verify enrollment.
2. The State to
verify U.S. lawful presence through S.A.V.E. (similar to E-verify)
and S.S.O.L.V. for driver license.
3. The State to
verify U.S. lawful presence through S.A.V.E. (similar to E-verify)
for public benefits.
4. Abolish
"sanctuary" ordinances instituted by local governments such as
Seattle and King County (and "wink and nod" sanctuaries like Yakima
and most other county governments).
New sections seek to
require:
1. Proof of
citizenship for voter registration.
2. Proof of
citizenship for candidate filings
3. Proof of
"natural born" U.S. citizenship for Presidential ballot listing
Petitions will
become available by late February. Please stay tuned!
(Contributions to "Respect Washington" PO Box 3768, Federal Way, WA

mailing expenses. Thank you.) Craig Keller
