Puget Sound Republican Event Calendar

The Puget Sound Republican Event Calendar is not maintained or sponsored by Eastside Republican Club, and is not an official communication from any Republican Party organization; it is a volunteer effort by Lois Gustafson and Toby Nixon, based on information submitted by calendar subscribers, and is posted here by permission. The events on the calendar are not necessarily sponsored or endorsed by ERC, but we are providing this archive of the Event Calendars for the benefit of ERC members. If you would like to submit an event to the calendar, or to receive calendar updates by email, contact Lois at lygus@msn.com.

(Last Updated March 28, 2014)

Campaign season is in full swing, if you have Republican candidates not listed at the bottom of this calendar, please send their information to me lygus@msn.com .  The Primary is creeping up, let’s get the names of our candidates out to the voters!

As we each do what we can for those involved in the OSO tragedy, continue offering prayers for comfort.

                                    ««« 1500 ROSES TO HONOR VETERANS «««

Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Evergreen Washelli Memorial Park

Saturday April 5th 10am, Nearly two dozen volunteers from the University of Washington Navy ROTC will be placing 1500 roses from the “Ten Grands” concert at gravesites at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Evergreen Washelli Memorial Park. The roses are a gift from The Snowman Foundation and “Ten Grands” Seattle. They will first be used on stage at the 7th annual “Ten Grands” concert at Benaroya Hall the previous evening.

On April 4th 2014, the “Ten Grands” concert will be held at Benaroya Hall in Seattle, beginning at 7pm.  “Ten Grands” presented by RBC Wealth Management is a benefit for The Snowman Foundation, the concert whose proceeds will enable the funding of several music programs, supporting targeted groups where music would make a positive difference in the lives of many children.

The Snowman Foundation has been “giving the gift of music” since its inception in September of 1999. Its purpose is to promote the performing arts and to make them accessible to all youthful and “at risk” members of the community..

For additional information, contact Brenda Spicer, Evergreen Washelli Memorial Park 206.362.5200.
